The Universal Crimpable Hook is designed for 18×25 and 21×25 archwires. The Universal Crimpable Hook can be used with elastics, chain, coil springs, and the 3mm length is perfect for surgical cases. The interior is ribbed with bi-directional grips for increased grip strength on the archwire. The mushroom top on the Universal Crimpable Hook allows for use as a surgical hook, or an arch hook.

The Universal Crimpable Hook is crimped onto the arch wire in situations where the bracket may not have a hook, or a hook is needed in another location to attach elastics, chain, coil springs or Temporary Anchorage Devices. They will be used for Class I space closure, Class II, and Class III malocclusions and can also be used in surgery cases where ligature wire will be laced to keep the mandible closed.
